Solar System Installation at Durbanville Home

We initially installed 3 kw of AAA quality panels and a Goodwe 5.4 Kw Hybrid inverter, we afterwards added another 2 Kw of panels, the client uses a prepaid meter. In order to stop feeding the extra power to the grid , we used a grid tied limiter. This worked very well.  We decided afterward to replace the Hybrid 5.4 Kw Goodwe with a 10KW Hybrid inverter that can handle 43 Amps instead of the 20 Amps from the Goodwe auxiliary output in order to improve the maximum amps supplied to the loads. We are gathering a history on this system to determine the ROI and will report back on the gains. Obviously if Eskom makes live easier for the small home solar production owner to sell back excess solar , it will change the ROI greatly.
